A huge thank you goes to my media production team: Keith Sutterfield, Carver McCaskill, and Amanda Thompson.
Keith has done the filming and editing from 2017 to the present, Carver started editing in 2022 to the present, and Amanda has been my production assistant since 2019. Thank you, guys! These videos wouldn’t be nearly as great (or fun) without you!!!
PODCASTS
Recently I was interviewed by Alexis Teichmiller on her Deeper Life podcast. We talked about Imaging, a form of manifesting and making your dreams a reality. Even though this isn’t directly food related, this is how I’ve built the life of my dreams filled with food, family, and friends.
A Wedding Podcast with Katie and Stephen is all about what NOT to eat at your wedding! Tons of fun with plenty of helpful do’s and don’ts for your wedding nibbles.
Here’s the link to my interview with BFF with the Chef – Madalaine of Lakeside Table. Nicole and I had such a great time talking about why I chose to go to culinary school, can’t be without kitchen tips, favorite easy healthy go-to recipes, and some of our best family stories. If you want to know a little more about me, it’s all in there!
Bringing the World to Life on the lake
After retiring from city living (St. Louis, Washington D.C. & Northern VA), we’ve embraced the simplicity of lake life. But just because we live in a small rural town, doesn’t mean we don’t crave global flavors. We do!
One of the best ways to get to know a culture is through its food. There’s not much I enjoy more than sharing the methods and techniques I learned in culinary school to help people make amazing dishes that bring faraway places into their homes.
You’ll find that the majority of my recipes are inspired by the places I’ve been and restaurants I love such as:
- Apricot Tart (Austria)
- Red Curry Soup (Firefly restaurant & India)
- Pork Wellington (England)
- Beef Bourguignon (France)
- Fettuccini Carbonara (Italy)
- Ramen (Japan)
- Moo Goo Gai Pan (China)
- Coq au Vin (France)
- Tortilla Soup (Mexico)
- Chimichurri (Argentina)
